Software
- Vixen is software for the
do-it-yourself lighting fanatic. Used heavily for Christmas and
Halloween displays, Vixen allows the user to pre-program the display,
and schedual it to start and stop at specifc times, and even have
different programs for different nights. With a PC, Vixen, and some
home-built hardware almost anyone can have a prefessional looking light
display synchronised to music. Best of all - IT'S FREE!

- DIYC is run by Brian from
Christmas In Shirley. Its forums contain a wealth of information for
the do-it-yourselfer, with designs, board sales, parts coop's, and a
massive amount of help from the well over 1000 members. There is
regular discussion from people who are designing new and better
controllers such as the Grinch, Renard, and the new Lynx Freestyle.
Bacause this is designed for people of all abilities, people new to
lighting displays get regular help from people that have been doing
this for years.

- Horrorking is run by Lithgow Lights owner David Rawsthorne. It is a Stephen King fan site, and contains a huge amount of information on King, his books, and characters and links between the books.
- AhwatukeeHolidays.com
- Frank Kostyun's brilliant display in Pearce Rd, Phoenix, AZ. The 2008 display will be smaller than his usual 150,000 lights owing to a hand operation recently, but knowing Frank, his display will be extremely entertaining.
