It's all about the blinking...
See a comparison of the hardware used to run the displays between 2007 and 2019.
This year we have 22,980 lights installed, and to have some fun we have created a few install video's showing how the lights were installed this year, and they are located down the page a bit. Some of the display video's and still images are shown below.
On Wednesday 14th of January we dropped off the $3500 in cheques to Redkite and were once again mobbed by pretty much all the staff members in the office. This passion for such small donations such as ours is the reason we love dealing with Redkite and its staff. A few images from today are shown below, along with descriptions below.
I don't think there were many staff doing work, but with CEO Jenni Seton hiding at one end, we think everyone had just taken an early lunch break to join the viewing. The overall view was this was once again a great display, but we definately need a larger screen for the display to be successful. Pity Apple dont make a larger iPad lol
We were humbled with the presentation of a small gift - a thank you certificate which will be proudly hung above the workbench in the shed, surrounded by images from Redkite visits and our display from 2007-2014. I will add a picture of this wall in the 2015 pages soon.
Jenni Seton CEO being presented the cheques from us, along with the thank you certificate presented to us. Early next month an additional $500 will be forwarded down to Redkite from Energy Australia, my employer. It was great to see so many familiar faces from Redkite that we see just once or twice each year, and the discussions on fundraising and also how (and who) to approach for additional support in 2015 was a huge help, hopefully we will be able to gain some interesting items and support that will help with shows in the future.
